The New Entry Officer’s Course 55 (NEOC 55) passing out parade took place on the Quaterdeck of HMAS Creswell with Chief of Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin, AC and Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Tim Barrett, AO, CSC, RAN.

At the most recent graduation of New Entry Officers on 1 December at HMAS CRESWELL, the President of the Naval Officers Club, Captain Rick Bayley RAN Ret’d, presented the Naval Officer’s Club prize to LEUT Angus Thompson, RANR, of Reserve Entry Officers Course 2/15.  LEUT Thompson is a Nursing Officer who works at Wollongong Hospital in the Emergency Department.  He is keen to experience sea service and to contribute on a full time basis when called upon to do so.    The prize is awarded to the Reserve Officer “who is distinguished by course results, self-discipline, resolution, undeviating application and a good influence among peers.”
