The Wardroom Mess HMAS Cerberus held a partners dining-in night on Friday 2nd August 2024, and Executive Officer CMDR Jason Grivas invited the Naval Officers Association to attend. The mess has recently been renovated along with many other Cerberus buildings, and the two murals on the end walls have been cleaned. Doug and Virginia Stevens, and David and Denise Garnock represented the NOA. David is as well a former commanding officer of HMAS Cerberus.

Many members will remember this mess environment, and its ‘traditional’ ambience. A three-piece band ensemble played pleasant background music in the mezzanine deck enclosure.
