ACT Division members once again gathered in the Orion Room at the Canberra Southern Cross Club Woden to socialise and enjoy lunch.  Following the AGM in April, the Chairman was able to confirm that the Club has again granted the ACT Division a further year’s waiver of room hire charges for such events, under the Community Groups Assistance program.  Thus the Division will continue to enjoy the Wardroom-like atmosphere which the venue provides.  Members were updated on news of various individuals that had arisen in recent weeks.  The formalities were concluded with a standing toast in memory of the late RAN Admiral of the Fleet, HRH the Prince Philip.
